So my project through Autumn was starting a Sisters of Battle army, the first 'army' I've collected since my original Orcs and Goblins Army from Warhammer Fantasy. What can I say...I loved the models, I love the design. I lvoe the Grimdark
I spent a long time on colour schemes, trying every colour. But most colours just looked too clean. I settled back on red, but making it fit a bit more in the Grimdark aesthetic. So the base colour is a mix of Mephiston Red and Rhinox Hide. The inner robes is Rakarth Flesh. And I'm sure you can figure out the rest
The faces were some of the hardest things to get right. But I experimented with several skin tones which you will see some more of in some future posts
